Redline donates to Comic Relief on behalf of their guest of honour Kevin Green of the REC

Redline Group enjoyed an afternoon of fun and music as we raised money for #RedNoseDay2017. With the house band playing songs throughout the afternoon and Consultants enjoying some Karaoke, Redline raised over £700 for Comic Relief. All staff were dressed in their official Red Nose Day 2017 t-shirts and contributed to the Red Nose Bake Sale.

Redline Directors offered to donate £500 to Comic Relief on behalf of their guest of honour Kevin Green - Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) Chief Executive - if he sang a song with the house band. Kevin joined Andrew Raymond, Redline Executive Search and Martin Crapper, Redline’s Managing Director to sing 'A Town Called Malice' by The Jam. Click here for Video.

Martin Crapper comments: “What a fantastic day, it felt like the X-Factor, uncovering some real hidden talent (and some which should definitely remain hidden!) We’ve got half a dozen talented musicians and singers in the business, and they all stepped up and did their bit, which in turn encouraged more to have a go. In the end I think half the company stepped up and sung or played, amazing effort and great fun. Kevin’s a great sport, I don’t think he was expecting to be fronting a band on a Friday afternoon business meeting, real thanks to him for being up for it and we’re delighted to donate an extra £500 for his efforts.”
