Are you a Supplier Quality Manager looking to work for a company that makes products that save lives? If so, then this is the role for you! My client is a global leader in Fire & Security prevention applications based in Coventry. The main purpose for this job is to manage the day to day running of the Quality Department, including managing the IQC (incoming quality control) team, department activity, reviewing and verifying reports, and working alongside the Quality Compliance Manager. In this Supplier Quality Manager job based in Coventry, you will be responsible for: • Be the key leader of Quality Assurance & Governance through the business, from front end new product development & introduction and current production design improvements through to our CEM’s Quality Assurance activities and the back-end customer quality complaints. • Management of the department KPI’s, through Compliance, IQC, Corrective Actions and Supplier Scorecards along with our sister companies Quality KPI’s. • Management and lead all 8D (or similar) problem solving methodology activity internally and externally with our CEM’s. • Provide Quality Assurance and Governance expertise to key departments through the business, from the Manufacturing Engineering Team, R&D Team, Customer Support and Sales Teams. Key skills and experience required for the Supplier Quality Manager job based in Coventry: • Strong standard awareness of ISO 9001 • Experience in a similar quality related leadership function • Experience of overseas CEMs, suppliers and clients • Team leadership experience This role offers hybrid working but you will be required to be on site three days a week.
