Our client provides rugged power system designs and products for harsh environments, predominantly within aerospace and defence.

The successful applicant for this Senior / Lead Power Electronics Engineer job based in Hertfordshire will be responsible for:

•	Power Electronics Design & Development: Lead the design and development of digital and analogue power supply modules.
•	System Requirements: Develop, capture, and review system-level power requirements.
•	Magnetics Design: Design power supply magnetics, including planar magnetics.
•	Power Conversion Expertise: Work across low and high power levels and frequency ranges, including isolated and non-isolated DC/DC and AC/DC conversion (topologies, components, control, and packaging).

To apply for this Hertfordshire-based Senior / Lead Power Electronics Engineer role you must have a combination of the following skills and experience:

•	Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Power Electronics Engineer
•	Strong background in power supply design (AC/DC, DC/DC converters)
•	Experience with magnetics and planar magnetics design
•	Ability to define and review system-level power requirements
•	YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN UK WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP
