We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager, located in Germany, to lead the business development, and sales efforts across Europe for Electric Vehicle (EV) and HV connector and cable products. This is a strategic role, and an individual contributor focused on driving growth within key automotive OEM accounts (such as BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Stellantis, Renault) and infrastructure manufacturers, expanding market share, and building long-term customer relationships. You will work closely with global factories and internal teams, including product management and customer service, to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager
- Sales Growth:
- Develop long-term relationships and design-win strategies with European OEMs.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
- Execute customer acquisition strategies for EV OEMs and infrastructure manufacturers.
- Market Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and analyse market trends.
- Increase pipeline opportunities using CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with Tier 1 automotive and infrastructure OEM accounts.
- Act as the primary commercial interface between customers and operational teams.
- Commercial Performance:
- Monitor design wins, revenue, margins, and delivery performance.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and maintain profitability.
What We’re Looking for in the Regional Sales Manager
- Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in OEM field sales within automotive EV interconnect (connectors, cabling) or infrastructure equipment.
- Proven track record developing and managing Tier 1 strategic accounts.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Familiarity with global sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler, Miller Heiman).
- Industry Knowledge:
- Extensive network within EV/Automotive OEMs across Europe.
- Languages: Must be Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally as required.
