Quotations Engineer - CEM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Quotations Engineer – CEM to join this leader in Electronics Manufacturing, located in West Sussex.

The position of Internal Quotations Engineer – CEM is an office based role, which requires you to be part of a team of 6 in the sales department, reporting to the Internal Sales Manager. 

This is a reactive role, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for products or services based on customer requirements, with a focus on providing the most cost effective solution and highest levels of customer service.

This role requires liaison with production engineers, customers and suppliers in relation to BoM’s,| and looking at alternative comparable options. 

Requirements of an Internal Quotations Engineer – CEM
•    Degree in Electronic Engineering, HND or equivalent CEM experience  
•    Ability to understand engineering concepts, electronic components, and PCBA manufacturing methods and drawings
•    Preparing BoM, Quote loading, preparing BoM and progressing for Contract Electronics 
•    Understanding of cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs 
•    Managing incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email – strong and clear communication skills 
•    Drive a culture of manufacturing and customer service excellence
