A Production Planner / Scheduler is sought to join an innovative electronics manufacturing team in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, contributing to the efficient planning and scheduling of PCBA manufacturing operations.

The Production Planner / Scheduler, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, will be responsible for aligning customer demand with production capacity, material availability and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities include:
•	Develop and maintain master production schedules and daily/weekly plans across SMT, robotic soldering, THT, box-build assembly and test operations
•	Optimise machine changeovers, production sequencing and line utilisation to minimise downtime
•	Analyse production capacity and identify bottlenecks across labour, machinery and test equipment
•	Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP), ensuring components and materials are available and kitted ahead of production
•	Work with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve component shortages and minimise production delays
•	Release manufacturing orders, shop-floor packs and pick lists, coordinating daily production meetings and schedule changes
•	Monitor and report KPIs, including schedule adherence, on-time delivery, manufacturing lead times and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

The Production Planner / Scheduler, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, will have the following key skills:
•	Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment, ideally PCBA or EMS
•	Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, reflow, robotic soldering, box-build and functional testing
•	Experience using MRP/ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle or Epicor
•	Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•	Knowledge of production capacity planning, IPC quality standards and Lean Manufacturing/5S principles
