Production Operative

Are you an experienced Production Operative or Assembly Operative looking for a new opportunity in Brackley? We’re recruiting for a growing manufacturing business seeking reliable and detail-focused individuals to join their production team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments, particularly those familiar with adhesive bonding or plastic component assembly.

The Role – Production / Assembly Operative, based in Brackley
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the assembly and production of high-quality components and products, ensuring all work is completed to strict quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
•	Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistent output 
•	Assembling plastic enclosure components using adhesive bonding techniques (including MEK and glue) 
•	Aligning, positioning, and pressing components accurately in line with technical drawings and specifications 
•	Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards 
•	Monitoring production output and reporting any issues to supervisors 
•	Supporting quality control checks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives 
•	Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health & safety regulations 

Key Skills & Experience
•	Experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly role (minimum 1 year preferred) 
•	Familiarity with adhesive bonding, solvent welding, or MEK (highly desirable) 
•	Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail 
•	Ability to follow technical instructions and assembly diagrams 
•	A proactive attitude towards quality, safety, and teamwork 
Training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude.

Performance Measures (KPIs)
•	Maintaining non-conformance levels (NCP) below 2% 
•	Supporting On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery of 95%+
