A well-established technology company based in either Hereford or Watford require an experienced Principal FPGA Engineer with a strong background in network protocols.

The role will suit someone with a working knowledge of communications systems engineering and digital signal processing. A pragmatic approach to the implementation of FPGA based network equipment is essentials.

Key responsibilities of the Principal FPGA Engineer job based in either Hereford or Watford: 
•	To design and develop a range of modules and equipment for digital IF
•	Expert user of Linux
•	Integration and test of digital IF equipment


Key skills required for the Principal FPGA Engineer job based in either Hereford or Watford:
•	Industry experience with direct experience of RFSOC/MPSOC
•	Experience of FPGA implementation of communications stacks including TCP/IP
•	Efficient implementation of DSP algorithms in VHDL 
•	Experience of high-speed mixed signal PCB design constraints
