Operations Engineer

We have an Operations Engineer opportunity in Royston, Hertfordshire, which is perfect for someone looking to build their technical expertise in a varied, hands-on role, with excellent development prospects. It would suit a recent engineering graduate with some industry experience, or someone with equivalent skills and knowledge.
This Operations Engineer opportunity is to join a growing, technology-led business. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of engineering activities, supporting the performance, reliability and continuous improvement of specialist equipment across customer sites.

The Job:
•	Support the performance and reliability of technical equipment.
•	Investigate faults, troubleshoot issues and help deliver long-term solutions.
•	Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and improvements.
•	Work with engineering and production teams to enhance processes and equipment performance.
•	Support maintenance activities and ensure equipment remains operational.
•	Contribute to new installation and technical development projects.

About You:
We're looking for someone with a solid engineering foundation and a desire to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility. Ideally, you'll have:
•	A degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
•	Experience in an engineering, technical or operational environment.
•	A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
•	Strong analytical skills and an interest in how equipment works.
•	A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
