Are you an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales Specialist with experience supporting sales operations, processing orders, and managing customer relationships? This is a fantastic job opportunity to join a growing organisation based in Hook where you’ll play a pivotal role as the interface between customers, account managers, and internal teams. Key responsibilities of the Internal Sales Engineer job based in Hook: • Process incoming sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completion within agreed timescales. • Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding promptly to enquiries and resolving issues effectively. • Build, manage, and develop customer relationships, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. • Prepare and issue customer quotations, progressing opportunities through the CRM system. • Raise sales invoices for completed and dispatched orders. • Maintain and manage company filing systems and sales documentation. • Maintain and develop the CRM database, ensuring customer data is accurate and up to date. • Provide administrative and commercial support to external Account Managers. • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. • Support lead generation and qualification activities using databases, web searches, and LinkedIn. • Carry out general office duties, telephony, call filtering, and ad-hoc tasks as required. Skills and experience required of the Internal Sales Engineer job based in Hook: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an internal sales or account management role. • Experience using ERP systems, CRM platforms, and LinkedIn for sales activity. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams. • Confident communicator, able to engage with customers to understand their needs and requirements. • Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to identify opportunities and successfully cross-sell products to existing customers. • Experience managing, growing, and retaining customer accounts. • Background working within a company that manufactures or distributes electronic components.
