The Redline Group have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Systems Engineer - Defence to join a fast-paced team at our customers HQ in Bedfordshire. The company are leading in their field with a significant global presence and specialise in high integrity electronics for critical industries, including, Aerospace, Defence and Naval. 

This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.

On an initial 6-month project, you will join the team in the early stages of development, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, with the potential need for some electronics and electrical re-design along the way. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as completing documentation in preparation for verification and validation stages.

Key Skills Required – Contract Systems Engineer – Defence, Bedfordshire:
-	Experience of full systems life-cycle development (V Model)
-	Experience of working working to military (MIL) standards
-	Experience of EMC/environmental testing
-	A background in electronics design, with an appreciation of electrical elements (connectors, switches, power)
