Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Creo

Our client, a world class development company who are global leaders in their industry, are currently in the process of developing new products to release to the market. As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer for an initial 3 months, to help them deliver on these projects, onsite 2 days a week at their office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company. 

In this contract you will be working with a team of 4 other mechanical design Engineers, designing and drafting a mix of injection moulded plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as DFMEA on existing parts. 

Key skills required for the Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, St Ives, Cambridgeshire:

- Strong experience with Creo and Windchill PDM
- Design for manufacture (DFM) 
- Design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA)
- Experience within printing, medtech or industrial automation is desirable
