Contract Electronics Engineer

The Redline Group has an urgent requirement for a Contract Electronics Design Engineer – Altium to support an innovative engineering business based in Cambridge. The company develops advanced safety technologies and is seeking an experienced contractor to support the development of a next-generation product currently in the beta phase of development.

This is a hands-on role focused on electronics design, PCB development, testing and product validation, working closely with Senior Electronics Engineers - Altium on a dedicated development project.

Key Skills Required – Contract Electronics Design Engineer - Altium
•	Strong Electronics Design experience 
•	PCB Design & Layout using Altium 
•	Analogue and Mixed-Signal Design 
•	Hands-on Testing & Commissioning 
•	Microcontrollers and Sensor-Based Electronics

This role is expected to last 3-6 months initially with potential for extension. The successful contractor will be required on-site in Cambridge, ideally 5 days per week.

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
