Buyer - Electronics Components

Redline Group is working with a leading independent global distributor of electronic components to recruit a Buyer – Electronic Components based on a remote basis in Hungary.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement or sourcing professional with a strong network across the European electronics distribution market. You will play a key role in sourcing electronic components, developing supplier relationships and securing competitive commercial terms to support customers across the region.

The business operates globally across North and South America, Asia and EMEA, providing OEM and EMS customers with solutions covering electronic component distribution, shortage support, cost reduction and inventory management.

The Role
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, as Buyer – Electronic Components you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring electronic components, with a particular focus on building and managing relationships with Franchise Distributors across Europe.
You will work closely with Sales and internal teams to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate competitive supply agreements, and ensure customer requirements are fulfilled effectively.

Key Responsibilities
•	Develop and maintain strong relationships with Franchise Distributors across Europe.
•	Source electronic components and negotiate competitive pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
•	Identify and develop new supplier and sourcing opportunities across the European market.
•	Manage supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery.
•	Evaluate, qualify and develop new suppliers.
•	Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and supply agreements to deliver cost savings.
•	Work closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to support customer requirements.
•	Monitor market trends, component availability and supply chain risks.
•	Build and expand the company's European supplier network.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
•	A minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing within the electronic components industry.
•	An existing network of Franchise Distributors across Europe.
•	Existing relationships with Independent Distributors and/or OEM purchasing teams would be highly advantageous.
•	Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
•	Fluent English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
