Laura Preston to run Manchester Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support

Redline Group manager, Laura Preston, is once again joining the Manchester Marathon, for a great cause. This will be Laura’s second time enjoying the sights of Manchester, her first being last year when she successfully completed the marathon challenge, whilst raising £1400 for charity.

This year around, Laura will be running 26.2 miles in the Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023, on the 16th of April, to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Research, in loving memory of her late father. The Macmillan organisation was a wonderful support during and since his passing.

Peter Livingstone, Director, said “Taking on a marathon challenge is no easy feat - especially when it's done for charity! It takes a certain level of commitment and dedication, and it's certainly not a decision you take lightly!  Long-distance running is less a test of your physical strength, rather a test of your willpower, and Laura has masses of that. We all wish lots of congrats for the journey”.
