Are you a Purchasing Manager - Electronics with experience in electronics looking for an exciting new challenge with an electronics manufacturing company? 

My client are a global supplier and provide a wide range of products including PCB Assembly, Turnkey Box-Build and Cable Assembly. Located in Hertfordshire they exceed their customers expectation with outstanding service and care. You will work as part of a small purchasing team with responsibility for all purchasing activity and supplier order book management for nominated projects, including sourcing of electronic commodities.

In this Purchasing Manager - Electronics role, the responsibilities will include:
-	Lead Supplier improvement projects and ensuring desired outcomes are achieved
-	Develop and negotiate suitable commercial agreements with strategic suppliers
- 	Review, define and implement future purchasing strategy, utilising MRP system as appropriate, to ensure effective and efficient purchasing of materials. 
-	Develop process of monitoring and reporting purchase costs against planned costs. 
-	Maintain up to date knowledge of supply issues including trends, lead-times etc. 

The ideal candidate for Purchasing Manager - Electronics role based in Hertfordshire will have the following qualifications/experience:
-	Knowledge of MRP systems 
-	Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager within a manufacturing environment.
- 	Advanced level of Excel; use of formulas to manipulate and analyse data.
- 	Knowledge of electronic and mechanical manufacturing processes. 
- 	Knowledge of electronic and mechanical supply chain and supplier capabilities.
-	Experienced in working in a CEM environment.
- 	Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- 	Strong organisational and problem solving skills
