The Redline Group have a fantastic job opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer, working with our client, a world leading designer and manufacturer of specialist instrumentation systems, based in Surrey. 

Within this job, you will join the design team and your role will involve engineering design, overseeing the transition of new products into production, and taking the lead in design activities. You will implement products into production using Project Management principles, demonstrating an understanding of good manufacturing practices. Additionally, as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will engage in sourcing and consulting with suppliers for purchased components related to design activities.

Key Skills Required – Mechanical Design Engineer in Surrey:
-	5+ years of experience
-	Strong Mechanical Design 
-	Electrical design experience 
-	SolidWorks proficient
-	Experience in a hazardous environment (explosive atmospheres, ATEX, IECEX)
-	Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all areas of the business
-	Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
