My client is a UK based electronics design and manufacturing company who due to recent growth, are expanding their R&D department, and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. 

Key skills and experience required for the Mechanical Design Engineer job in Slough, Berkshire: 

•	HNC/HND/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
•	Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D/2D
•	Design of sheet metal enclosures and machined parts
•	An understanding of electrical and thermal principals
•	Familiar with international standards (EN 61439, ISO12944) 

You will be expected to see a product from initial specification, through design, testing, into production and give ongoing support.
