Key Account Manager - Sensors

Location: Home-based near the M6 or M1 corridor

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a passionate and driven Key Account Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Global Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day sales development activities at the site level. Collaboration with our international team will be essential to ensure alignment with global strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of this Key Account Manager job:

  • Develop and maintain technical and application knowledge of company products and services.
  • Gain expertise in the retail automation market to identify trends and anticipate customer needs.
  • Stay informed about competitors' products, prices, and discount structures.
  • Achieve sales targets by organizing and executing sales activities efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Sales Management to implement training and development plans.

Requirements of this Key Account Manager job:

  • Extensive experience with high level sales account management within Sensors or Electronics manufacturing as a backup.
  • Strong track record with managing and growing out high value accounts.
  • Knowledge or experience in sales within large multi-site Retail End Users preferred.
  • Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.
