An international leader in the design, development and supply of mixed signal, RF, and microwave semiconductors for the communications sector are looking for a Head of Silicon Engineering to be based out of their Langford, Essex facility.  

The Head of Silicon Engineering, Langford, Essex will be a key member of the leadership team and will drive international projects and engineering teams across the company to deliver a wide range of products, including mmWave MMICs, RF transceivers, baseband processors, data controllers, and interface devices. These are supplied to critical communications, Satellite and Network Infrastructure.

You will own and deliver the silicon engineering strategy, driving product time-to-market (TTM) and manage the full product lifecycle. This will include device costings and ensuring systems and software activities communicate smoothly for a successful product launch. 

The ideal Head of Silicon Engineering based in Langford, Essex will need to have a broad understanding across semiconductor silicon design, RF, Analogue and mixed signal as well as departments including Embedded Software, Hardware and Verification & Test.
