An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Field Applications Engineer - Electronics, based in Japan. This company specialise in designing bespoke electronic chips for customers internationally. 

This role is a Field Applications Engineer job where the successful candidate will be required to work remotely from Japan while travelling to meet clients to provide regular technical and hands-on expertise to customers across a range of projects.

This Field Applications Engineer vacancy based in Japan can be considered in 3 main parts:
-	Providing support (field-based) for customers throughout the entire product lifecycle (such as design, tuning, testing and understanding the complete solution)
-	Being a member of the applications and projects team, supporting project engineering across the product range
-	Supporting the sales organisation with technical support and on-site presentations

The successful Field Applications Engineer, will have some of the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
-	A degree in Electronics or Physics, or other relevant discipline  
-	Hands-on experience of electronic circuit design and debugging
-	Have experience working with electronics products in a technical role (e.G. Electronic design engineer or test engineer position) OR
-	Have experience working in a customer-facing technical role (e.G Field applications engineer)
-	Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable in front of customers
-	Commercial awareness
-	Be fluent in Japanese
