Redline welcomes five new recruits as part of their strategy to expand to 80+ by 2020

02/08/18 Martin Crapper Managing Director

Redline Group, the Permanent & Contract high technology and engineering recruitment specialist, continues its investment by hiring five new Recruitment Resourcers as part of the company’s strategy to expand their existing team to 80+ by 2020.

The well-established technology recruitment company, based in the modern ‘Village’ business park on the Beds/Herts border, has an outstanding reputation for quality, and a proven track record of success.  This is part of Redline's long-term strategy to support talented professionals to achieve success in the technology and engineering recruitment sector.

Developing an intimate understanding of the high-tech sector is a key building block for any successful recruiter. Our resource team initially concentrates on understanding candidates’ backgrounds and requirements, the sectors they operate in, and how their roles and careers could develop. They provide support to the Consultants and Account Managers on key recruitment projects and roles, gaining more and more experience and responsibility for projects and clients as they develop. We believe it’s essential to build a solid foundation to provide a great, knowledge-led service to our customers.

Anna Wojtasik

Anna graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in English language and Linguistics before joining their student support team. Anna has a passion for languages and is interested in further language acquisition. Anna is an accomplished musician playing the guitar and flute and she also loves singing, so we might have found another Redline band member.

Connie Pearce

Connie studied an LLB law degree at Plymouth University and a BA(Hons) Marketing degree at Sheffield Hallam. Connie has most recently been working with a Property Management company. Connie is a keen Kayaking enthusiast and enjoys skiing when on holiday, obviously not at the same time.

Adam Rees

Adam served with the RAF from 2005 through to 2011 with 3 squadron and commanded a fire team of 8 men and completed two tours. Since leaving the military, Adam studied digital media and a foundation degree in Game Development. Most recently he was in sales for a specialist waste management company. Adam enjoys Swimming, Running and going to the gym, he is also very useful at restoring old desktops and laptops and tablets.

Adam MacCionaoith

Adam graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Human Physiology and whilst studying worked several part-time positions in sales. Adam also started a company as part of a young Enterprise course with several of his fellow students, which was a national competition to establish and run a business for several months. His own company won several regional awards and successfully closed business in a profit. Adam has a keen interest in Politics and Current Affairs, he is a keen keep fit enthusiast trying to get to the gym 4 times per week! and is an accomplished Rower when he gets the chance to find an empty rivers.

Sarah Cook

Sarah has spent nearly 6 years in Retail, most recently in a management position for two leading fashion companies. She recently travelled to parts of America, Barcelona and Rome amongst other places. Sarah has a keen interest in Fashion so will be casting a critical ‘Clothes Show’ eye over the Redline team’s attire.

Greg McHugh, Head of Training & Acquisition comments: “Individuals do not need to have recruitment experience, but excellent communication skills, a passion for knowledge and the drive and motivation to want to succeed. We have already attracted a mix of university graduates and college leavers all who were encouraged by Redline’s approach to training and further education whilst in employment, with the offer of support and time to obtain professional qualifications.”

Martin Crapper, Managing Director comments: “We employ people with diverse work, education and life experiences from recent graduates from all disciplines to expert sales people and engineers. However, we’re looking for people who can build relationships, create trust and deliver a knowledge-led approach to customers and candidates. To help our growth, we provide a great working environment and we’ve put together development programmes covering the initial skills to start all employees on the path to becoming professional recruiters and then onto senior and management roles. At Redline we’re proud to hire people for a career.

Redline Group is a specialist technical recruitment company based in Luton since 1982. We believe that the core of our business is people and they make us who we are today.
