Redline run the Herts 10k

A Redline team of Adam Walker, Bhav Patel, Laura Preston and Mandy Wheeler recently joined thousands of other runners in Harpenden for the annual Herts 10K race.

With nearly 3,000 people of all ages and abilities crossing the line for this year’s fundraiser in Rothamsted Park, the organisers were hoping that this year’s event will raise over £150,000 for Grove House hospice. Grove House provide palliative and end-of-life care based around patients and their families both day and night. This would take the total raised from the annual race since it started in 2006 to £1m.

Commenting on the race Adam Walker, Director said “ The Herts 10K is a tough challenge with a mix of cross country and road running. It was great to take part again and see all the Redline team finish the race whilst actively supporting the charitable status of the event”.

The leader of the Redline pack was Engineering Consultant Bhav Patel with a time of 48.02. This was a great start to his training schedule as he will be undertaking the London Marathon next year.
