Ex-Professional Golfer promoted to Senior Consultant in under 12 months

We are delighted to announce that Chris Forsyth – Manufacturing and Operations Consultant - has been promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant and voted Employee of the Month for July by Redline’s staff and management team.

Chris spent 10 years as a professional golfer and teacher following a degree from the University of Birmingham in Professional Golf and Business. His first 8 years were spent developing a business career in management and coaching as Head Coach at the UK’s fastest-growing golf entertainment venue. In the last two years Chris followed his dream and competed at the highest levels in professional tournaments. Due to a severe injury Chris was forced to leave golf and used his business education and experience, targeting the £35Bn recruitment industry as a key sector to build his next career.

Since joining Redline’s Manufacturing and Operations permanent recruitment Division, managed by Head of Operations - Rachael Dent, Chris has rapidly built positive relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues, gaining a deep understanding of clients' recruitment needs and requirements.

Chris has also qualified for Redline’s six-monthly Sales Conference which invites the top performing Consultants and Managers from Redline’s 60+ strong team to step back from the hustle of managing multiple recruitment projects, to review and analyse the last 6 months’ performance.

The role of Senior Recruitment Consultant will allow me to work even more closely with clients, providing advice and guidance on improving their recruitment processes and results in this skills-scarce sector. It feels good to know that others in the business believe I am doing well and voted for me. It drives me to work harder and continue to progress and hopefully progress to a management role in the near future.”
