A globally successful leader of high-speed electronics within the military/aerospace market are seeking a UK Plant Financial Analyst, in Towcester.
My client is seeking a UK Plant Financial Analyst in Towcester who is passionate, driven and energetic to join the organisation. This role will be responsible to the Director Supply Chain Finance and will support the UK Plant Manager and the UK VP Operations. Responsibilities will include managing monthly closing process for UK plant including accruals, inventory costing, FIFO , account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews, along with providing value added detailed analysis of manufacturing variances, inflation/ deflation, productivity metrics and standard margins. You will support weekly and monthly operating reviews including revenue and inventory reviews, prepare yearly budget roll ups, monthly estimates and track variances to actual. You will also drive capital improvements including PP&E, payables and inventory, reviewing different options such as buy vs lease, NPV calculations and challenging teams on requests and assumptions. You will provide leadership in ensuring compliance with UK & US GAAP, along with representing Finance/ Accounting on lean projects designed to improve operations and reduce costs.
The UK Plant Financial Analyst, in Towcester will be a qualified Accountant or will have a masters degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. You will have relevant experience in a Hi-Tech manufacturing environment and will have experience building SQL/ MS access database or use other analytical software.
