NEW UHV DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER / SCIENTIST JOB AVAILABLE IN WEMBLEY, WEST LONDON.

A leading aerospace / defence organisation in the business of designing and manufacturing high power electronics and microwave systems are seeking a bright UHV Development Engineer / Scientist to join their research & development team based in Wembley, West London. You will be joining a business with over 35 years industry experience and 200+ employees.

As a UHV Development Engineer / Scientist you will be responsible for the design, manufacture and test of novel ideas, from concept through to production. You will join a team of scientists working on vacuum technology for complex high-powered RF / Microwave based products.


The ideal candidate will have:
> A strong academic background in Physics, at a minimum to degree level.
> Exposure to Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) systems.
> An interest in quantum technologies.
> Experience in working in a laboratory environment.
> Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of R&D Engineers / Scientists.
> Exposure to RF test and measurement equipment would be beneficial but not essential.
