Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Author - Electronic Equipment based in East London to join this market leading organisation.

My client are seeking a Technical Author - Electronic Equipment to be responsible for the creation of technical documentation for their product range and creation of the same for new products being developed. This will be based on datasheets, application notes, user guides, help files and other related technical documents.

You'll also create product kits and technical notices advising worldwide engineers of changes within their products. You'll work closely with their Design teams to correctly spec and create manuals.

Key skills/experience for Technical Author - Electronic Equipment :

Extensive experience as a technical author
Good knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word etc, to create diagrams and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw etc
You must have experience of creating manuals / technical documentation for electronic / electro-mech products.
