My client is a technology development specialist exploiting exciting opportunities in the low-carbon / renewable technology market across an integrated hardware and software platform, set to make a major impact in the emergent mixed energy economy for both consumer and business customers.

Their Central London (zone 1) office is where all products are designed, and you will play a major role in developing their next generation products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital to join a market leading technology company that are very committed to developing their staff and up skilling them into the latest technologies.

As the Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital you will take ownership of the company’s electronic systems architecture/full product lifecycle from start to finish. This includes mixed signal design for their complex battery systems. Given the way technology is moving, you will have the chance to utilise your broad skillset (analogue and digital design) and not just be focused on one area. You will play a major part of future innovation in the business whilst managing the electronic/test engineers.

Skills needed for the Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital:
- Experience in managing the full life cycle development, taking products from concept to manufacture 
- Experience of system level design and/or working on product architecture
- Extensive knowledge of electronics, embedded software development, AC and DC power management
- Experience with technologies including PIC / ARM Cortex M4 C language / C++ / Python / IMX6 / IMX7 / Embedded Linux (desirable) / RS485 / Ethernet
- Must have a broad set of skills around mixed signal design (analogue and digital) 
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
