Job description


Role: Applications Engineer
Location: Bedfordshire
Duration 3 months extendible

An exciting opportunity to join of a fast-growing technology start-up company which helps OEMs implement the latest technology to increase functionality, reduce cost and downtime and increase efficiency. The company is already well known in a wide-range of industries including EVs, mobile and off highway machinery, automotive and renewable energy. The company is looking for an ambitious and self-sufficient Applications Engineer with the ability to help build a business through accurate, timely completion of projects with CAN-bus experience.

Technical Skills
3+ years' experience in use of relevant programming tools (e.G. C/C++, CODESYS, OOP, HMI UX)
Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
Experience with CAN and CAN protocols (CANopen, J1939, etc.)
Knowledge of real-time control and electronic principles
Exposure to hydraulic control principles desirable but not essential
Electrical/Electronic or Computer Science degree
MS Office experience essential
