Job description

Software Engineer - Advanced HPC Technology required to join a company in Bristol. This company really are a world leader in the development of High Performance Computing Systems and technologies, with their systems being used to solve problems in many of the most challenging Engineering and academic facilities around the world.

They are currently looking for motivated and skilled Software Engineers with strong C or C++ and Linux skills, ranging from a year or 2 years experience, up to Technical Lead, to join its Advanced Technology R & D Team, a team consisting of a bunch of dedicated innovators and respected industry leaders who really enjoy what they do.

The position is very interesting and challenging, working on the design and development of next generation, extremely scalable, high performance computing systems for High Performance Computing, Data Analytics and Machine Learning products.

You would be working in their new European R & D Centre, which is home to computers and processing power that you would not believe. The environment is very informal and relaxed and encourages collegial, creative, bright, passionate and focused people to collaborate to build powerful technologies that solve the world's most challenging problems. The ideal people for these jobs will need to have strong technical and interpersonal skills with a passion for computer technology and be able to show, as a minimum -


> Industry experience in a similar role
> Good Linux software development expertise
> Proficient programming in C/C++


Experience in any of the following areas would certainly peak their interest -


> Operating system architecture, networking and files systems
> Sound software engineering principles and a demonstrated knowledge of the full development lifecycle.
> Outstanding problem solving skills
