Are you a Senior Test Engineer - CAN Bus looking for a new role based in Birmingham, West Midlands?
My client is a world leader in their field, with the production of lead, lead alloys and the recycling of lead batteries. They supply batteries for a vast number of industries such as automotive, commercial vehicle and more. Our clients have been around for over 80 years and now have over 29 sites around the globe.
My client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Test Engineer - CAN Bus to complete a variety of test. Their batteries are sold into the automotive industry so the ideally candidate will be confident with CAN protocol and ideally have experience working within the automotive industry.
The ideal Senior Test Engineer - CAN Bus will have a blend of the following skills and experience:
- Experience with automotive CAN Bus testing.
- Design, implement and deploy battery pack and module tests (SoH/DCIR etc)
- Experience programming/reflashing High Voltage component ECUs, would be highly beneficial.
- Be able to establish the safety of Electric Vehicle batteries received by Ecobat Logistics and determine if dismantling or refurbishment is required and be able to carry out this duty safely.
