Senior Software Engineer - Cambridge to £ 75K + share options + bonus - to join a fast growing, well funded 5+ years established 3D Sensor Technology company.

An excellent opportunity for a capable, Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ (C useful also) and Linux kernel / drivers development experience to join a fast-growing (currently mid 20's strong) and exciting company that is a leading provider of 3D Sensor IP and technologies to the consumer electronics, automotive and industrial markets.

They are currently working with with Tier 1 OEMs in the computer OEM and Automotive markets, who are in the process of adopting their technologies into their products worldwide.

For this position, they need a Software Engineer with 5+ years' C++ and Linux development experience in a product centric commercial environment. The successful Senior Software Engineer will be working alongside a team of highly skilled multi-disciplinary engineers, coding both on Linux and Windows platforms.

You will need to be a motivated and self-starting problem solver who has a natural desire to innovate and get the job done, whatever it takes and ideally will have worked in a start-up or small team environment where you have been used to doing exactly that. The company have all the latest tools and software but if you need something else / different it will be provided. A great environment, populated with friendly and sociable people, all pulling in the same direction, to get an exciting product to market !

As a Senior Software Engineer the key skills and qualities required are:

> A background in commercial software development for complex products

> Extensive C++ programming experience

Linux (drivers / kernel) development and Windows development

> Experience working with small teams and/or start-ups

> Strong ability to write structured code and create good documentation

The 'nice to haves' include:

> Experience developing using Python

> Good Computer Science or relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) to at least 2.1 level
