A global leading technology organisation based in Hampshire are seeking an academically qualified Senior Optical Design Engineer - Laser/Fibre to join their expanding R&D facility.


As a Senior Optical Design Engineer - Laser/Fibre you will be responsible for contributing to the research and development of a new generation of high power (up to the kiloWatt level) fibre laser systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world leading technology company who are looking to hire multiple engineers, due to incredible year-on-year success.


- Degree or PhD qualified in Optical Engineering or a related field.
- High level of hands-on experience with free space laser optics and fibre optics
- Knowledge of the physics of fibre and/or bulk laser technology
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplined R&D environment (involving electronics and optical engineers).
- Ability to work within a team environment.
