My client are a game-changing company manufacturing ground breaking robotic based equipment that uses a range of high spec sensors and digital and analogue electronics to control the complex mechanical element of this £multimillion system. They currently have a new job opportunity for a career minded Senior Hardware Engineer - Safety to come and join their team due to continued growth.

As the Senior Hardware Engineer - Safety, you will be involved with the electronics design of their complex optical image based robotic systems used for sorting. The sorting machines are a range of electrical/ mechanical and electronic systems using multiple PCB's and a range of complex electronics. You will particularly specialise on the hardware design of the system controller used within their products and also work on the safety side of things - going through all the necessary safety calculations and also be responsible for leading a team of hardware developers.

In order to be considered for the Hardware Electronics Engineer - Safety role, you must have the following:
A degree in Electronics/Hardware design or equivalent
10+ years experience in designing bespoke systems
Experience with safety calculations using Sistema
Experience with SLI3 or PLE
Board level design experience
PCB schematics capture/design experience
Analogue/Digital Experience - At least a solid grounding in the principles of analogue and digital electronics.
Leadership skills
