A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Senior Hardware Engineer - Luxury Audio to join an industry leading organisation within the audio industry. My client is based within the Cambridgeshire area.
As a Senior Hardware Engineer within the Luxury Audio Engineering Group, you will be joining our team of world-class engineers who share an extraordinary passion for impeccable sound and dedication to raising the bar for high-end consumer audio.
You will play a key role in the Hardware design team, taking projects from concept to manufacture on a range of complex products.
As a Senior Hardware Engineer - Luxury Audio you will be involved in the design of discreet, low-noise, analog audio circuitry in superior preamplifier and high-power amplifier circuits. Also, design & oversee digital control circuitry using high-speed serial interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and I2S; and applying various embedded microcontrollers and discrete logic devices.
The ideal Senior Hardware Engineer - Luxury Audio will have the following skills:
> Master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
> Experience and/or knowledge in low-noise, high-power analog and mixed-signal system design, testing, and PCB layout practices.
> Strong working knowledge of high-performance, high-end consumer audio and video systems, standards, and competitive market (two-channel audio, video, home theatre, music, etc.).
> Proficient with schematic capture and PCB design tools, ideally Altium.
> Thorough working knowledge of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DVMs, logic analyzers, programmers, Audio Precision distortion analyzers, etc.
