An exciting Senior Hardware Engineer job opportunity has arisen, to join a team to design and engineer software for a Market Leading Visual Motion Capture company, based in Oxford.

This Senior Hardware Engineer job offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for designing motion capture software for numerous industries, including Medical, Sports Science, Media and Interactive Entertainment.

Previous projects worked on by the business include:

- Special Effects for the Movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle
- Creating Visual crowd effects for the Movie Blade Runner 2049

And many more box office hits, with even more exciting opportunities coming soon.

The Senior Hardware Engineer will join a well established and expanding team of developers, in a friendly and social environment.

Key Skills and Requirements for the Senior Hardware Engineer Job include:

- Minimum of BSc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent field.
- Strong experience with High Speed Digital Design, VHDL, Verilog.
- Involvement in full product life-cycle.
- A working knowledge of analogue design and experience of developing products for manufacture with an emphasis on DFM/DFT.

Ideally the Senior Hardware Engineer will look to develop skills including:

- A working knowledge of image sensors, optics, Ethernet and RF Design.
- Working alongside, and sometimes leading, teams comprising of electronic, mechanical and software design engineers in the creation of high performing and cost effective solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills.

This job is a great opportunity for a capable Senior Hardware Engineer, who wants to work on systems being used in Blockbuster films, AAA games as well as in hospitals, virtual reality installations, and research fields ranging from sports science to robotics and drone development.
