An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Firmware Engineer job, for a Worldwide, Market Leading technology business, Developing and manufacturing of Satellite and Terrestrial Emergency Rescue Beacons.
The Senior Firmware Engineer will see their work unfold as the become responsible for the design and implementation of Embedded Software for life saving consumer electronics equipment.
Based in Margate but easily commutable from Ramsgate, Maidstone and Canterbury, this Senior Firmware Engineer job is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, challenging environment.
Key skills needed for the Senior Firmware Engineer Job are:
- Degree level qualification in Electronic / Computer Engineering or similar discipline.
- Experience with C language and development tools.
- Experience or Exposure with FreeRTOS.
The business is dedicated to the continued success of it employees and will offer training and exposure to the following as part of the Senior Firmware Engineer job:
- Experience in designing & implementing real-time software.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Experience in modular firmware design including using and creating libraries, version control, bug tracking and team working practices.
