Job description

A challenging opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer - Low Noise Analogue based in London has come available with a global leader in state-of-the-art instrumentation electronics. My client is a worldwide provider of innovative electronics for a range of industries predominantly in the medical and scientific markets. As this role is based near Old Street in London, this role is commutable from areas of Luton, Bedford, St Albans, Watford, Reading, Slough, Middlesex, Surrey and Greater London.

Due to the nature of their products they are looking for someone with a broad skill set covering various aspects of mainly analogue, but with some digital design. They have emphasised a real need to find someone who has strong (current) Low Noise analogue design experience.


Key responsibilities for the Senior Electronics Engineer - Low Noise Analogue:

> Working with the principal design engineer and engineering manager to define electronic architectures for new products and documenting these specifications.
> Specification, design and debug of low-noise analogue and digital circuits.
> Participation in cross functional design reviews and be able to clearly demonstrate the functional effectiveness and viability of the electronic design.


Essential Qualifications & Experience for the Senior Electronics Engineer - Low Noise Analogue:

> Good knowledge of Low Noise Analogue design
> Knowledge of power supply design.
> Exposure to ADC's (Analogue-to-Digital Converters) or DAC's (Digital-to-Analogue Converters).
> Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
> Ideally some experience of video or image sensing.
> Experience with digital / FPGA design would be beneficial but NOT essential.
