Are you looking to work with a market leading electronic design consultancy?
Due to expansion this well-established Electronics Design Consultancy are now looking to hire a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Digital / Analogue. They are a global industry leader who provide solutions to many different customers all over the world. This role will give you a huge amount of exposure to electronics design from prototype stage to full-life cycle development. You will be joining a team of five, highly experienced, electronic design engineers.
As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital you will have the opportunity to take an idea from concept through to final production stage.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital will be to:
- Capture technical requirements from customers, estimate time and resource for project delivery
- Undertake best practise designing, prototyping and testing designs. These designs will be captured in schematic form and then lay out the printed circuit board working in collaboration with the client's mechanical CAD teams.
- Once prototype units are produced you will test, modify and update them to produce fully working designs backed up by test results, appropriate records and design documentation. You will support the units through compliance testing to ensure the end client has a fully working and fully compliant product.
The Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital will be offered ongoing training and have a good understanding of the electronics market as well as a keen interest in new technology developments.
Required skills and experience needed as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital:
- Min 2 years' experience of product development
- Strong background in analogue and digital circuit design. Ideally with experience of taking designs from concept to manufacture.
- Used to working closely with PCB design engineers on your electronic designs.
Desirable skills / Experience as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital:
- Working knowledge of Altium
- Understanding of EMC (design to meet and resolve issues that occur)
- Experience working within a quality management system
- Embedded firmware capabilities for microcontrollers either bare metal or RTOS
- Low power radio communications experience
