A global high-technology Product Design and Manufacturing Specialist are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer. You'll be supporting global clients by managing the design, development and delivery of products for a variety of industries. Senior Electronic Design Engineer will be based in Bathgate but commutable from Edinburgh, Livingstone and Hamilton.
This Senior Electronic Design Engineer job will require you to develop to play a key role liaising with customers and other departments. You will be working on a range of complex electronic products, taking responsibility for some of the more analogue aspects within a highly experienced team.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronic Design Engineer job:
> Develop engineering and product concepts that are innovative, of high-quality and within budgets.
> Design mixed signal electronic boards and integrate Power supplies, such as AC/DC converters and use tools such as Spice simulation.
> You will be regarded as a "go to" technical specialist and leader in at least one area of processes, tools, or industry knowledge.
Key skills required for the Senior Electronic Design Engineer job:
> Proven design experience with Analogue based circuits and ideally with Low power and low noise applications.
> Experience of schematic capture using mainstream packages such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics and Altium
> Experience of developing PCB layout design constraints and PCB manufacture and fabrication processes
> Knowledge of firmware and RF based applications would be advantageous.
