Job description

This global high-technology Product Design and Manufacturing Specialist is looking for a Senior Analogue Design Engineer based in Livingston, Scotland. You'll be supporting global clients by managing the design, development and delivery of products for a variety of applications including Medical, Communications, Industrial, aerospace etc.

The Senior Analogue Design Engineer will play a key role liaising with customers and other departments. You will be responsible for designing and developing complex analogue products. This will be a leadership role, you will be managing the existing small team of analogue design engineers.

Key skills required for the Senior Analogue Design Engineer job:
> Strong background in board level analogue circuit design, including areas like: Discrete, MOSFET, switching circuits, low noise, phase Locked Loop design, simulation and passive order filter design
> Power supply design experience - no particular preference on low/high power
> Strong EMC experience
> Good simulation and control theory knowledge
> Proven experience leading technical teams

This will be a customer facing role and the Senior Analogue Design Engineer must be confident presenting and liaising with customers at all levels.
