My client is based local to Towcester, Luton, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Bedford, Northampton, and surrounding areas.
This company currently require a Senior Accountant based in Towcester to join their rapidly expanding Finance department. It's very important that you have experience with all aspects of general accounting and providing support during monthly close processes.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant job will include:
>Timely completion of company account reconciliations, accruals and pre payments.
>Preparing monthly VAT return and VAT reports.
>Providing reports and analytics when requested.
>Support the Assistant Controller during month end close and performing ad hoc tasks.
Skills and Competencies required for the Senior Accountant job will include:
>ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualification.
>Understanding of SAP or proven ability to pick up new system skills.
>Knowledge of VAT, US GAAP and IFRS would be advantageous.
