Would you like the chance to work for a growing electrical and power company on the forefront of modern technology as a Security, Data Governance & Record Archive Management Officer in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire.

The job as the Security, Data Governance & Record Archive Management Officer in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire will be working in the support function of the business, working alongside trade compliance and risks. You will be responsible for the implementation and overall compliance in line with the clients policies, and procedures including the organisations security practices. You are responsible for the management of records and archive management programme, again relating with the policies in question. With this in mind you will define a range of various communication methods to raise awareness of these procedures and security methods in place. Other responsibilities include, the vetting of employees, contractors as well as other third party persons on site, maintenance of the security database, management of clearance transferred between companies of the clients personnel.

This position as the Security, Data Governance & Record Archive Management Officer in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire will also be in charge of submitting applications for Ministry of Defence International Visits Control Office as well as being in receipt of these applications and control the movement of various security plans relating to transport as and when required, these also include the import and export controls relating to a vast range of products being shipped and received by the client to a wide variety of locations. Weekly site security checks will be monitored, recorded and actioned as well as monitoring fire, security and incident checks.

Experience required for the Security, Data Governance & Record Archive Management Officer job include prior knowledge of security check and clearance procedures, trade compliance and risks, International Trade application processes (F680/F1686) and have the ability to deliver training and awareness to other as and when needed. Trade compliance forecast experience, including import/export knowledge would be of advantage and have electronic document management experience. Skills required include BTEC Level 2 Security qualifications(Desirable) and previous experience with security controls such as carrying out vetting to BPSS (Baseline Personal Security Standard).
