Job description

My client, an industry leader in the packaging industry have an exciting opportunity for a Section Leader at their site in Bedfordshire.

The Section Leader will report into the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate systems management, ensuring processes are followed, keep production costs to a minimum, supporting Quality Assurance, supervising a team and promoting continuous improvement. Other responsibilities of the Section Leader job in Bedfordshire will include assisting in sock counts, maintaining the working area to a 5s standard, ensuring KPI targets and month end reporting are completed on time, attending the daily Production meetings and implementing Environmental, Health and Safety policies.

The ideal candidate for the Section Leader in Bedfordshire will have 5 year's experience within a similar role and will have knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system. Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment will be desirable.
