Job description

A Sales Director is required to join an industry leading client, this is an exciting time to join this company as they continue their journey producing leading edge next generation products and systems.

This is a full time and permanent job working within the Cambridgeshire area, easily accessible from locations such as Cambridge, Luton, Bedford, Letchworth, Ely, St Neots, Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford and other surrounding areas

Purpose of the role

With responsibility for managing the Regional (EMEA) Sales Team and the Regional Applications Team, the Director of Sales (EMEA) will lead and drive profitable sales growth within the my clients EMEA region's core, key and strategic accounts.

The role will require a significant amount of travel to visit customers and partners, covering AMEAT and South Africa

The main responsibilities for this sales director job consist of;

- Manage the Regional Sales Team (4 direct reports) to maximise effectiveness as measured by performance against revenue and profit plans, pipeline volume, mix and accuracy, forecast accuracy and documented strategic & key account plans.

- Develop effective and influential relationships with industry and organisational leaders, decision makers and influencers.

-The achievement of agreed regional sales targets and related performance measures; monthly forecasting to deliver sustained revenue growth over the short (quarter-on-quarter), medium (two-year) and long (ten-year) terms.

The main requirements for this sales director job consist of;

- Significant proven experience in similar senior B2B sales leadership role(s)

- Previous industrial sales experience ideally in printing, packaging, decor, labels

- Proven experience in initiating, building and managing relationships at all levels to drive growth in large (>£1m) regional and global accounts

- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

- Fluency in a European language (preferably Italian, Spanish or German) would be advantageous.
