Job description

An amazing opportunity to work as a Safety Engineer in New Malden, Surrey with a leading major global provider of navigation solutions, including radars, compass systems, steering systems, speed logs, integrated bridge and control systems.

The job as the Safety Engineer in New Malden, Surrey is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for carrying out functional safety activities with both internal and customer design teams and providing support to the engineering teams on safety-related design topic. You will also be working with Safety Managers to provide evidence for design safety assurance and to produce technical documentation to a high standard in accordance with company/customer procedures. This role will also require travel to customer and sub-contractor sites in the UK, occasionally overseas, as required.

The Safety Engineer in New Malden, Surrey requires a demonstrable experience of working in a safety-related engineering environment an understanding of demonstration of compliance to international standards and client specifications. They will also have the ability to understand hardware and software failure modes, causes and effects.
