Responsibilities of the RF Test Engineer, will include:
- Development of any RF test hardware, firmware, and software for the test facility.
- Commissioning of the test facility including writing specifications and procedures.
- Working within the company Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that we comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Maintenance of existing legacy software, test fixtures and test equipment (fault finding to component level).
- Supporting Production with any test facility issues.
- Optimization and structuring of test software and sequences to ensure efficient testing.
The successful candidate for this RF Test Engineer role will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience working in a product-based electronics manufacturing environment.
- Read and understand circuit schematics and diagrams
- An understanding of RF and micro-wave circuitry and design principles.
- An understanding of RF and micro-wave test and measurement challenges.
- Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and Spectrum Analysers.
- Relevant experience in Software development.
- Schematic capture of circuits and PCB layout.
- Experience debugging PCBs to component level.
