This business are actively seeking an RF Design Engineer to join their R&D Team based in Oxford, Oxfordshire.
In this RF Hardware Design Engineer - Low Frequency role you will be responsible for the following duties:
> Low frequency RF Design
> Hardware Design including Analogue, Digital, RF & PCB.
> Design and run proof-of-concept numerical experiments and lab tests for innovative technologies.
> Carry out the use of oscilloscopes, network analysers and signal generators.
> Assess the performance of products and technology demonstrators.
To apply for this RF Hardware Design Engineer - Low Frequency role you will have a combination of the following skills:
> PA design experience (class D & E ideally)
> RF design experience at fairly low frequencies (BLE & zigbee are too high)
> Power electronics with good understanding of impedance matching circuits and smith charts
> Altium CAD experience maybe comsol & LT spice also
> Good hands on experience in the lab, so more practical person than theoretical
> A MSc or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
> Substantial experience in designing, building, and testing near-field RF systems, electronic control and automation systems.
> Proficiency in using RF laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analysers and signal generators.
