Are you a Reliability Engineer - Environmental, who has a keen passion to join an established company with an evolving semiconductor portfolio?
A well-established R&D organisation that design and manufacture Semiconductor, Mmwave, RF and Microwave equipment and components are recruiting for a Reliability Engineer - Environmental, based in Essex. They supply their products to the Telecoms, Broadcast, Aerospace, Defence and Satcom industries, and have a plan to grow their company over the coming years.
The responsibilities for this Reliability Engineer - Environmental, Essex include:
- Define and execute qualification plans for new products, packaging technology platforms, assembly processes, bill of material changes, and supplier qualifications as required.
- Actively participate in new product development activities; includes providing feedback to Design Engineers and Program Managers to identify and resolve reliability risks.
- Develop experimental designs for the evaluation of new technologies and analyse data to perform comparisons between them.
- Conduct life testing, applying stresses of high temperature, high humidity or temperature cycling.
- Work closely with systems engineering, test Engineering and design engineering groups to understand reliability failures/issues and develop mitigation plans
The ideal Reliability Engineer - Environmental will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Solid State Physics or other engineering or technical disciplines
- Knowledge of experimental design and associated data analysis is highly desired.
- Knowledge of reliability analysis techniques is a plus.
- Experience working within a semiconductor industry/company is desirable.
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and data analysis methodologies required.
