A world leader in Power Supplies is seeking a strategic thinking Regional Sales Manager based in the South of the UK.
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager to join a globally recognised manufacturer of power supplies and DC-DC Converters. The job will be a strategic senior level position covering the UK and Ireland, promoting revenue growth and market development for a broad range of power supplies suitable to the needs of highly diverse technology markets. You will be responsible for developing the business in these regions through distribution partners, with your time being split in the field and in the office.
Duties for this job will include:
> Visiting customers directly to promote the company's products
> Building relationships, training & motivating the sales teams of the distribution partners
> Following up of existing projects to ensure the project moves from design through to production
> Handling of all inbound enquiries from the 2 regions and arranging Internal Team work
> Prospecting of new customers
Ideal candidates for the job of Regional Sales Manager will have:
> Previous experience in an external sales environment within the electronics industry
> You will be strategic, analytical, capable of presenting solutions to customers
> You will be a self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision
> You have the ability to visit customers throughout the UK and Ireland as well as some international travel
